I needed a better way to house the different 3rd party boards available for the Ender 3. I also wanted to change out the huge case that came with my CR-10S5 where I can separate the power supply from the case to improve cooling and reduce noise. I spent time with some other approaches but decided to design one that so cramped where getting my fingers and hands in the case wasn't an issue.
This case was designed with the BTT SKR Mini E3 in mind but can be used with other compatible layout boards. The cooling fan can be mounted internally or externally and the holes in the back are designed to accomodate the 20mm rubber gromet from the original CR-10 case. The lid was designed to mount a buck converter out of the way of the rest of the wiring. The idea is that anyone should be able to customize a simple lid for their needs.
