If you are like me, when taking apart something you will often start to misplace small screws and such. But you also don't have a lot of space so having a full-size parts tray has always seemed like a bit of a waste. And also you wish it could be magnetic. I think that its just the 2 of us now, and have I got the printable for you!

This parts tray is parametric, meaning you can modify many things about it in the customizer or OpenSCAD. Change the width/height/depth, containers, beveling, magnet size, disabling magnets, tapered edges in the compartments, tolerances for the hinge, and more. If this seems like the kind of thing you might enjoy, hopefully I gave you enough settings to customize it to fit your need.

Note: With the magnets I used (6mmx3mm), it is strong enough to gently hold some screws right in the middle, but it wouldn't hang onto them if I bashed it to the ground.
