Snowflakes and snow crystals are basically the same, a crystal is one tiny bit of ice, snowflakes are many snow crystals stuck together.

Snowflakes shape and symmetry.
The temperature and dampness of the cloud constantly changes, which affects the shape of each snowflake. Although snowflakes can change shape so quickly, the hexagonal symmetry is kept. Snowflakes can be categorized into six main types, plate (flat), column, stars, dendrite, lacy, needle, and capped column. When the temperature is near to freezing point (0 degrees Celsius), snowflakes become much larger and a lot more complex in design. There are 35 main snowflakes that you could recognize from just looking closely at.

No two are ever the same.
It is indeed extremely unlikely that two complex snowflakes will look exactly alike. It’s so extremely unlikely; in fact, that even if you looked at every one ever made you would not find any exact duplicates.

The worlds biggest snowflake.
According to the Guinness World Records, the largest snowflake in the world was 15 inches wide and 8 inches thick. This was recorded on January 28, 1887 by Matt Coleman at Fort Keogh, Montana. He said that the snowflake was “larger than milk pans”.

This is a symbolization of the Hua syllable that can mean petals or can also mean a lavish and luxurious in Mandarin. While the second syllable of Wei has meaning achievement, or action in Mandarin. So it can be concluded Huawei logo symbolizes the achievement that surge or boast. In line with Huawei's committed principle of constantly evolving and innovating to meet customer satisfaction.

SCW VASE

The base shape of this vase is based on the logo of Select City Walk shopping centre, South Delhi.

Select City Walk is a shopping centre located in the Saket District Centre , in one of the upcoming middle-class neighborhoods of Saket in South Delhi. It was the first large-scale shopping center to open in South Delhi and was one of the major malls that were planned for the Saket District Centre. The mall is spread over 6 acres and includes a 4 km long multiplex, serviced apartments, offices and public spaces. It was opened to the public in October 2007.

CROWN VASE

Saw the design of Signature Tower Jakarta posted from @tinkerzone... The first thing came out from my mind is the floor plan of this building might suitable for me to design a vase...

Been spent a while in the google for some research about this building... and found the top view of its crown is more special than its floor plan... so i decided to give it a try...

Here it go... my 3rd vase design... Thanks for @tinkerzon for inspiring me with this design...

SURIA VASE

The base shape of this vase is inspired by the logo of Suria KLCC. Suria KLCC is opened in May 1998, the shopping mall was conceived as part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) project, having been constructed at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers.

TRADITIONAL MOTIFS ART VASE

The base shape is the cross-section floor plan of KLCC / Petronas Twin Towers. This cross section shows 2 squares interlocking to each other to form an 8-point star shape, which is the most common shape design in Islamic design. The geometry is used as the main concept of the design, which means: Unity, Harmony, Stability, and Rationality.

The towers evoke traditional motifs of Islamic art, honoring the Malaysian Muslim heritage, combined with innovative technology. Represent a change in the style of skyscrapers built in Kuala Lumpur.

Like the Beetle, the van has received numerous nicknames worldwide, including the "microbus", "minibus", and because of its popularity during the counterculture movement of the 1960s, "Hippie van/bus" has become its most popular.

This kombi is remodeled based on the Volkswagen Kombi...
It may become one of the collection for kombi enthusiast....

This is MEGA MAKEY, the stop-motion creation designed by Dan Spangler for Make: back in 2013. Make: published this robot back in 2018, but it is only 90 downloads so far. The reason behind is most probably no assembly instruction had been attached.

In order to make this robot back to life again, I would like to share the assembly instruction.How about we make it as a challenge? Who will be the next one?

Tabletop Tolerance Gauge

This gauge tests your 3D Printers ability to resolve small clearances between parts. It is a valuable tool for determining what you need to use in your designs to create moving parts without them fusing together.

It features rotational gaps from 0.12mm to 0.3mm and threaded gaps from 0.25 to 0.35mm.

For the rotational knob of 0.12mm clearance, you are required to use a little bit of force to make it rotate, same to the threaded bolt of 0.25mm clearance, force will need to be applied to turn for the first time.

Bridging Statue

Saw a video regarding the perfect bridging printing of the mushroom basket from @akakikuu...
This inspired me to design a bridging test model...
That is how I came out with this "bridging statue"...

By rotating this bridging statue...
you will find out that the printing result might be slight different
due to the different printing angle...
you will learn how to get a right angle for the perfect bridging...

Overhang Stress Frame

Just realised that i never done any overhang / angle stress test before... therefore rather to download one from the internet... I decided to design one by myself...

This testing tools consists of 6 different overhang angles: 15', 30', 50', 60', 70' and 80'... with a 50mm long bridging... I had tried 4 different PLA colours with 6 attempts... finally got 1 successful print...

Surprisingly the 80' are barely survive during the prints... I guess i need to adjust the design to 75' instead.... so let's try again...

Vernier Caliper - 80mm

A vernier scale is a visual aid to take an accurate measurement reading between two graduation markings on a linear scale by using mechanical interpolation; thereby increasing resolution and reducing measurement uncertainty by using vernier acuity to reduce human estimation error.

The vernier is a subsidiary scale replacing a single measured-value pointer, and has for instance ten divisions equal in distance to nine divisions on the main scale. The interpolated reading is obtained by observing which of the vernier scale graduations is co-incident with a graduation on the main scale, which is easier to perceived than visual estimation between two points. Such an arrangement can go to a higher resolution by using a higher scale ratio, known as the vernier constant.
