LPE25 Variable Flow Exhaust Valve

LPE25 Variable Flow Valve v1.00

Blast gates are simple, but simple isn't always better. A blast gate gives you fully open or fully closed — nothing in between. This Variable Flow Valve gives you continuous control over airflow anywhere in your exhaust line, so you can dial in exactly how much draw each printer gets rather than just switching it on or off.

It fits directly into the LPE25 Quick Connect Exhaust System — compatible with the Quick Release Head, the quick mount brackets, and direct connection. One handle controls everything: inline with the pipe means fully open, perpendicular means fully closed, and anywhere in between gives you variable flow.

The shaft and valve plate lock together automatically once the shaft is fully inserted into the valve body. The Flow Control Handle installs last, secured by the Retainer Clip. An optional 15x1.5mm o-ring is recommended for a better seal around the shaft.

Built-in print supports are designed into both the handle and the valve plate — no slicer supports needed. Just remove them after printing.

  • LPE25-E11 — End Ring x2 (from the main exhaust listing)
  • 15x1.5mm o-ring — optional but recommended

Hardware Required

  • 15x1.5mm o-ring (optional but recommended)

How It Works

  • Handle inline with pipe = fully open
  • Handle at any angle = variable flow
  • Handle perpendicular to pipe = fully closed

Assembly Notes

  1. Remove built-in print supports from the handle and valve plate before assembly
  2. Insert shaft through valve body — notches on the shaft and valve plate lock together automatically when fully seated
  3. Install the Flow Control Handle onto the shaft
  4. Install the Retainer Clip last to secure the handle
  5. Slide LPE25-E11 End Rings onto each end (glue in place)

The End Rings (LPE25-E11) are part of the main Quick Connect Exhaust System listing — you will need to print 2x from that file.

  • Recommended material: PETG or PLA
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Line width: 0.4mm
  • Wall count: 4 (1.6mm)
  • Infill: 40% Cubic
  • Support: No — built-in supports included in the model, remove after printing
