If you do papercrafting, you probably have a pile of those 1-inch Ink Pads that need organizing in Gridfinity. This spinner keeps all of your ink pads at your fingertips while only taking a 3x3 grid space!
The model is constructed of 4 parts: The Baseplate (which fits into a 3x3 Gridfinity baseplate), the Floor (holds a 608 bearing), any number of Spinner layers, and topped off with the Roof.
I printed this bearing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4310936 and it worked fine.
The spinners have an integrated ramp inside the pocket that is intended to capture the lip of the Ink Pad, so it doesn't fly out when you spin the tower. This does make it a bit hard to remove the Ink Pad - you have to lever the back edge up a bit to get it free. Once you do it a few times you'll get the hang of it. You can probably reduce the height of the ramp a little. The Fusion 360 file is included.
To keep the layers together I included some tabs inside the center hole. I used small rubber bands to connect each layer to the one above it. That holds the layers together but does allow for a little give to make it easier to get the Ink Pads out. You could glue the layers but then you can't add or remove more.
I printed mine in a different color for each layer, to justify my new Kobra 3 Multimaterial printer, but you could certainly print it in all one color. You can't see the Ink Pad lids, so we labelled the edges with a small sticker inked with the color of the pad. This makes it easier to see what color is in each pad.
