Backstory Me and my wife kept seeing these ads for phone holders that slide into a cup holder in a car. I decided to give it a go at designing one to fit into a Toyota Prius.

Print Recommendations I printed it in ASA, I would recommend a similar heat/UV tolerant filament if you live anywhere that gets hot. I made a slightly larger hole for the phone holder to slide into due to my first prototype being difficult to assemble due to the expansion or warping with the filament. I used a grid infill with a 25% infill. Print the cup flat so the phone holder hole is flat with the bed. The phone holder piece can be printed sideways with the flat parts on the bed, a brim might be needed if you have lifting issues on thinner parts of prints.
Hardware/Assembly Information Should be fairly easy, just slide the phone holder into the hole on the cupholder insert. The wire for charging should just go into the cupholder insert and then kind of bend into the hole in the bottom of the phone holder.
Usage Recommendations The width is around 81 mm and can fit a phone that is under 20 mm thick. The cupholder insert has a diameter of 78 mm.
