kaizen3dprints

My name is Daniel Bettencourt, owner of Kaizen 3D Prints, located in the Pacific Northwest. I am a full time massage therapist turning into a full time 3D textile designer. I currently print with 11 Bambu lab machines (A1, P1P and P1S), 1 Elegoo Neptune max 4 and a Peopoly Magneto X.

Kaizen 3D Prints is about pushing the boundaries of 3D printed fabrics and textiles. I work with cosplayers, fashion designers, and high-end brands to create works of art, both functional and fashionable. I love helping others' imagination come to life with the use of 3D design, patterning, and printing. Located out of our home, I live and breathe this passion for 3D fashion. Our only limit is our imagination!

This is a print in place, on fabric, with magnets, pyramid tote. A pause command is added at layer two, and at layer 13, when printing with a .24mm layer height. This model includes the pyramid tote file, a pdf in A3 and 8.5"x11" format for a lining (if you wish to add one), and an stl file if you wish to print out a hard template to use repetitively. The 3mf file includes both files, and print settings.

A minimum build plate size of 235x250 is required. A smaller version will be coming soon.

I use 8 10mmx2mm round magnets, and place every adjacent magnet with opposing polarities. (see photo for example). You'll also need approximately 60 inches of small elastic cording and a cord stopper. The holes that the cording needs to go through are 4mm wide.

I use a small elastic cord and weave it through the holes built in to the tabs on the inside of the clutch. The corner with the four holes is the exit corner, where you'll add a cord stopper if you wish. You can easily fit an ID/cards/cash/small items - everything you need for a fancy night out.

I prefer using an illusion mesh that I find online at DFW Fabric Mart, and I trim away only some of the excess fabric (a large rectangle around the outside tabs, but I leave the mesh on the inside). This leaves a small mesh barrier that helps encapsulate everything as you close it. I have additional fabric links in the general printing on fabric guide that is attached to this file.
