My name is Daniel Bettencourt, owner of Kaizen 3D Prints, located in the Pacific Northwest. I am a full time massage therapist turning into a full time 3D textile designer. I currently print with 11 Bambu lab machines (A1, P1P and P1S), 1 Elegoo Neptune max 4 and a Peopoly Magneto X.

Kaizen 3D Prints is about pushing the boundaries of 3D printed fabrics and textiles. I work with cosplayers, fashion designers, and high-end brands to create works of art, both functional and fashionable. I love helping others' imagination come to life with the use of 3D design, patterning, and printing. Located out of our home, I live and breathe this passion for 3D fashion. Our only limit is our imagination!

This is the file for a Houndstooth patterned hat topper. This is for printing on a build plate of 256mm x 256mm or larger.

You'll need a mild to moderate level of 3D printing, in addition to basic sewing skills.

This print is .64mm high. I use a .4mm nozzle and .2mm layer height. The first layer is .24mm, there is a pause built in before the second layer starts where a thin mesh fabric must be set and held in place by either magnets or tape. The print is then resumed, and completed on the third layer. These layers generally need to be printed at slower speeds. My average is 50mm/s, with a hotend temp around 220. Pay careful attention of the prime line, or any other calibrating line that may be extruded, as this model takes up the entire build plate and I have often missed it.

To get the finish of your choosing, take a peek at these magnetic PFLAT sheets that I use to imbue the effect of my choice https://kaizen3dprints.com/collections/p-flat-plates

I use this stretch fabric - https://www.joann.com/performance-nylon-spandex-power-mesh-fabric/16770323.html
