I've been obsessed lately with folding things, and one of the earliest things I remember making was this folding fortune teller! Popularized in 1928 in the book "Fun with paper folding", titled the "salt cellar" as the holes would be little nooks to hold food when standing up on their legs. I remember this in the mid 90's when I was a kid, and many remember it in their youth regardless of generation.

Now I have one sitting on my desk to help me figure out what direction to take. I'll pause, ask my origami fortune teller a question, and seek my results!

There are 3 sizes, and two styles - 1 that is multicolor, and 1 that has see through text if you're only printing with one color. Use a contrasting fabric color and your text will show through, while holding everything together! I like using a superfine powermesh that has a good amount of stretch to it, but anything with a mesh should work.

This model is .72mm tall, with a pause inserted at layer 2. I print the first layer at 35mm/s and the other layers at 50mm/s. The fabric is inserted at layer 2 and magnets or tape is placed to hold tension while the print resumes. When the print is complete, trim away the excess fabric, and fold as shown in the video.

Note - You must have a commercial license to resell the prints. It is prohibited to resell or redistribute the files, regardless of license.
