Wavey Loop Wall Sculpture - I printed it at 50% scale using three different silk dual color filaments. Had to make some adjustments to the screw holes in the base. Used about 0.7kg filament and M2 screws. - 3d model

Wavey Loop Wall Sculpture - Love this design, thanks for sharing! I scaled the model down to 50% and printed 3 sets of 15 "leafs". I designed a frame, split into thirds so it would fit my build plate. Frame has a built in hole to hang it on the wall. Very happy with the results! Thanks again! - 3d model

This sculpture, entitled Wavey Loop, is crafted from 45 identical 3D printed forms that are assembled into an interlocking hexagonal grid.

Assembling a 45 piece sculpture as shown in the picture requires about 135pcs of Stainless Steel Flat Head Self Tapping Screws. The screw size is M2.6x8, depending on the fit which changes with different print settings.

Another assembly option that avoids needing screws and special hanging hardware is using super glue and MDF board.
