This model was designed to hold the RCBS die case in place in a gridfinity drawer while also still allowing each case to be grabbed from the sides to lift it out. The lower tray provides a perfectly snug fit keeping the case exactly centered and the upper portion allows the case to find its home less precisely allowing easier lifting. An alternative model holds the trays at in angle to allow die caliber info to still be read and simply slide the desired case out of the tray.
