Modular and reusable plant labels for your garden and pots. 59 popular names are included.

Version A: Ready-made

  • Use the Mushroom_cut and the 59 premade labels of your choice.
  • Print them and rotate the label into place. Make sure to use a different color for the label so the letters can be read better.
  • You can remove the label easily and reuse the mushroom with a different label in the future.

Version B: Self-made

  • Use the Mushroom_cut and the label_clear
  • Use a slicer like prusa slicer, your CAD program or a online tool to shoot your text through the label.
  • Use a Stencil font like the “DIN Schablonierschrift” (downloadable for free on multiple sites)
  • Make sure to cut from the bottom so the font won’t be mirrored when in usage!

Version C: 3D-Pen

  • Use the Mushroom_cut and the label_clear
  • Print them and rotate the label into place. Make sure to use a different color for the label so the letters can be read better.
  • Use a 3D-Pen to add text to the label. - Make sure to use a different color for the label so the letters can be read better.

Version D: Permanent Coloring

  • Use the Mushroom_cut and the label_clear
  • Print them and rotate the label into place. Make sure to use a different color for the label so the letters can be read better.
  • Use Acrylic pens or colors to add your text. Please note that alcohol- or water-based colors do not work well!

Version E: Removable Coloring

  • Print the Mushroom_complete
  • Write on your letters with removable colors. Please note this option is so far hypothetical since I do not own such colors or know which one to use.

Version F: Self-made other font

  • Use a slicer like prusa slicer, your CAD program or a online tool to imprint the text.
  • For this version no stencil font is needed, and you can freely choose one.
  • Make sure to cut from the bottom so the font won’t be mirrored when in usage!

Print settings Material usage per mushrooms and label: 15g Print time per mushrooms and label: 1 – 2 h

Heat/Material: PLA is what I used. If you live in an Area that becomes very hot in the Summer, it is smart to go for a heat resistant type of filament with a high heat deflection temperature to avoid deformation in the direct sun. There are PLA products that serve this purpose, PETG is also a workable solution. Make sure to go for bright colors and avoid black and other dark filaments since those absorb more heat.

Print direction: stls are rotated correctly, check images Support: none Nozzle size: 0,4 mm Line width: 0,4 mm Layer height 0,2 mm Outer walls: 3 Infill: 15% Build plate adhesion type: none
