Gridfinity Tool Box Base is compatible with all the tool boxes designed by Frikarte3D, such as the Guardians of the Galaxy Tool Box, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Tool Box, Ahsoka Tano Tool Box, Hydra Tool Box, SHIELD Tool Box, Umbrella Corporation Tool Box, Lego Sorter Box, Creality Box, Polymaker Filament Swatch Box and the new ones I will release soon. You can mix and match them to create your own customized tool box.
Gridfinity Tool Box Base is a 3D printable model that you can download and print with any 3D printer and filament. It is easy to print and use, and you can print it in any color you like.
Gridfinity Tool Box Base is based on the ZackFreedman Gridfinity Base Plates, which are modular and magnetic plates that let you create your own storage system. You can choose between two versions of the base: one with a simple frame and another with a weighted frame that uses 6x2mm magnets to keep the block from moving and Yanev’s Tool Box ParametricYou don’t need to install every magnet, foot, and weight! Just use enough for your needs.
Gridfinity Tool Box Base follows the same Gridfinity Tips that ZackFreedman added to his model, except for the use of M3 screws for a permanent secure lock. Here are the tips:
- No brims or support required!
- Use any filament with an 0.6mm or smaller nozzle.
- Wider base can curl, so maximize your bed adhesion if you’re going big!
- All storage blocks are compatible with all baseplates!
- Most storage blocks are stackable!
- You can add 6x2mm magnets to the corners! They won’t magnetize the contents.
