UPPA - Modular desk drawer
UPPA Desktop Drawer is the desktop version of the HIDDA system. These stackable modules let you build a custom storage setup in minutes. The design features rounded edges and optimized clearances to ensure a smooth fit right off the printer.
Product developed in collaboration with Jerónimo Fernández.
Key features
- Size options: Small (100mm), Medium (210mm), Large (320mm). All versions are 60mm high and 250mm deep.
- Low-friction rails: The redesigned rail system reduces friction for smooth, silent movement.
- Scalable: Scale one of the available size options up or down for a perfect fit.
- Design: Rounded edges ensure comfortable use and a maximized interior area to safely hold items.
- Support-free: All parts print without support material.
- Print-in-place: No glue, magnets, or complex assembly required.
3D printing settings
- A 3MF with optimized print settings is included.
- The model is designed to print without supports. If your printer is well-calibrated, it’ll handle the overhangs just fine.
- Optimized tolerances: The drawer features a 0.5mm clearance, while the rails use 0.1mm for a tight fit. Ensure your printer is well-calibrated to handle these tight tolerances.
