I created this dumbbell-to-kettlebell adapter. It also helps when using the dumbbell for sit-ups and squats. There's an earlier, longer version, but I don’t like it as much. I’ve also made a version for two materials: TPU and PLA/PETG/ABS. For this version, you’ll need a slicer feature like Cura’s "Interlocking Structure."

Be careful, though—dumbbells are heavy and carry a lot of kinetic energy. I dropped a 50% infill, 3x0.6 walls PETG version, and it shattered easily. If it breaks while exercising, it could seriously hurt you, so take responsibility for your safety.

I really like the TPU version with 3x0.6 walls and 30% gyroid infill. If you print a TPU-only or a riskier lightning infill PLA version, consider using the nanoholes version, as it creates a few internal connections that strengthen the thread area. For a TPU-only version, you might also want to use a modifier to print the area around the thread with 100% infill, as that part needs extra stiffness.

I designed the thread myself after measuring and doing quite a bit of test printing.

Ich habe diesen Hantel-zu-Kettlebell-Adapter designt. Er hilft auch dabei, die Hantel für Sit-ups und Kniebeugen zu nutzen. Es gibt eine frühere, längere Version, aber die gefällt mir nicht so gut. Außerdem habe ich eine Version für zwei Materialien erstellt: TPU und PLA/PETG/ABS. Für diese Version brauchst du eine Slicer-Funktion wie "Interlocking Structure" in Cura.

Sei aber vorsichtig – Hanteln sind schwer und haben viel kinetische Energie. Ich habe eine PETG-Version mit 50 % Infill und 3x0,6mm Wänden fallen lassen, und sie ist leicht zerbrochen. Wenn sie beim Training bricht, kann das dich ernsthaft verletzen. Handle hier eigenverantwortlich und vorsichtig.

Mir gefällt die TPU-Version mit 3x0,6mm Wänden und 30 % Gyroid-Infill sehr gut. Ich habe ganz flink diese Verlängerung "Duscharm" mit FreeCAD entworfen. Sie hebt den Duschkopf um ca. 12 cm an und lässt sich ineinander stecken. Sie dient dazu, dass man unter der Dusche stehen kann, wenn normalerweise die Duschkopfhalterung zu tief installiert ist.

Hey everyone!  This is my everyday wallet, designed and printed by me! 

The model is available for download, so you can print your own. Just scale it in the Z-dimension within your slicer software if your banknotes are a different size than mine (like in the pictures with the €50 note). I printed mine with a 0.6mm nozzle, but it should work great with a 0.4mm nozzle too. 

I've been using this wallet for about 2 months now, and it's holding up beautifully!  The clear PLA already brown on the edges, and I especially love the design of this version 4.

Hallo zusammen!  Dies ist mein alltags Geldbeutel, den ich selbst entworfen und gedruckt habe! 

Eventuell passt man die Z skalierung im slicer an die eigenen banknoten an.

Ich habe meinen mit einer 0,6mm gedruckt, aber eine 0,4mm sollte auch gut funktionieren. 

Ich benutze diesen Geldbeutel jetzt seit etwa 2 Monaten, und er hält super!  Das klare PLA ist jetzt schon verwaschen, und das Design von Version 4 gefällt mir besonders gut.
