I was interested in seeing what my best design from last year would look like as a teardrop shape rather than a ball. I went back to my earliest stage of the previous design and redesigned it from the ground up - 3 times before I was satisfied.

Not for commercial use. Please see license agreement.

The ornament looks dramatically different from each angle. I've printed it here in 2 pieces. The first 3 photos show it printed in TTYT3D Shiny Red then accented with Rub N Buff Gold Leaf. Thanks to @Linefeed for letting me know about Rub N Buff. The next 4 photos show it printed using a dual color filament - MatterHackers Quantum Raspberry Gold.

I've provided STLs of the design for both the whole ornament and the two pieces. It can be printed as a single piece, but that would require a lot of supports and wouldn't print as cleanly as printing as two pieces.

It can be a challenge to slice this so that it prints cleanly and weighs relatively little, so I've provided my PrusaSlicer 3MF files and GCODE for a Prusa MK3S+. My final print is just 28g.

I've used Height Range Modifiers in PrusaSlicer to vary Perimeters, Infill, and Top/Bottom settings so that the model has extra structure where it needs it - and no where else. Most of the ornament prints with just 1 perimeter. I've only added infill to layers that are unsupported or areas that need reinforcement. I used Organic Supports for the top. The bottom piece doesn't need any supports.
