Heart of Tafiti Locket

Summary The Heart of Tafiti Charm is kept in a locket in the movie. This is my version of that locket. I printed it in grey PLA using a "Print-in-Place" layout to connect the hinge. There is no clasp but rather the inside of the locket has a pocket to cradle the heart. The weight of the lid and the heart should keep the locket closed.

Post-Printing Once printed, the bottom layer should be sanded to minimize traces of the brim as well as any fusing between the sides that might occur on the first layer. Then gently pry the two sides apart at the bottom (i.e. - away from the hinge). Once this lets go, gently open the lid by applying increasing amounts of pressure until the hinge becomes free.
