Hi :)

My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. Follow me on my path and let's keep creating together!

Discover our realistic heart-shaped moulds in the Home & Garden category on thangs.com. These 3D models enable crafting of unique cement planters that seamlessly connect to form a love heart - a charming garden addition or a thoughtful Valentine's Day gift. The final product can hold soil securely and efficiently without any water leakage. This heart planter isn't your only option – experimenting with the moulds can result in other creative shapes, like a blooming flower mould by assembling four hearts together.

The package contains six 3D pieces; each correlates with one file that needs printing (recommended printing the base and the walls together). By interlocking the base, the walls and the inner mould, you form the right half of the planter. For the left half, replace the right mould with the left one, and rotate the remaining pieces for the perfect fit.

Concerning 3D printing parameters, supports are only needed for the holes in the wall1 and wall2 pieces. The inner moulds (right and left) are best printed upside down for the protrusions touch the print bed, thus eliminating the need for supports. As production involves moulds, a higher layer height (>0,2mm) is recommended, and you could opt for the filament you prefer.

For a meticulously explained video guide on the planters' creation, and to reach out to the designer for any inquiries, you can visit the designer's Instagram page. The versatility of these 3D model heart planters, combined with the limitless potential that comes with creativity, makes this offering on thangs.com a favourite among DIY enthusiast and those passionate about gardening.
