My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. Vase design : Capullo model

Ideal for home decoration, besides being a useful vase to place flowers or whatever you want.

Inspired by a curious geometry that resembles the shape of an insect cocoon.

Its parametric shape has been designed in Rhinon3D using Grasshopper.

3D PRINTING PARAMETERS For the model you have to set VASEMODE or the following parameters in the slicer program (I used Cura):

Filling: 0% No support No adhesion Layer height: 0.2 mm Top layers: 0 Bottom layers: 5 (minimum) Wall line count: 3 (minimum) Nozzle size: 0.4 mm Nozzle temperature: 200ºC Shrinkage: Yes
