This simple toothbrush stand was designed specifically to fit the Quip toothbrush and has a hole for a suction cup at the bottom. The suction cup I used measures 30mm in diameter, has a 6mm wide stem, an 8.5mm wide end, and the stem is 9.5mm high. Modify as needed for the suction cups you can find, or [use the ones I bought off Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CQ41XLH). The toothbrush stand leans back slightly, and has subtle curves that are both decorative and functional when you need to clean the stand. As always, use a little water on the counter to help the suction cup seal better.

 
The model displayed in pictures was printed using .16mm layer height, but .2mm is just fine. This requires minimal supports (see below, or use the .3mf file), and prints faster if you have more of them on the build plate due to minimum layer times.

 
Support settings:
- Use manual supports only. Do not use automatic supports as they might not be possible to remove from where the suction cup stem goes!
- I used snug supports with no issues
- I painted supports only on the underside, below 2mm, and only a little around the hole. Make sure you don't paint any further inside the print or you may end up with supports that are impossible to remove (see screenshot)

This tie rack doesn't try to jam in as many ties as possible, but instead allows you to get a better view of your ties, and even display your favorites, with the added benefit of simulating how the displayed ties will look when tied. If you want an elegant, yet simple, way to keep your toothbrush from lying on the counter then this modern, curvy design fits the bill. It's entirely free-standing and prints in one piece, though you'll likely need supports for the holes, but not much.


**PRINT ON ITS SIDE TO REDUCE NEEDED SUPPORTS**
Using manual supports, and with the stand on its side, I only had to paint supports on the (now) upper part of the holes. A sliver of support will do, and was only necessary on the lowest part of the overhang. I found **slim tree supports** in Orca Slicer to result in the best hole quality. I've gotten the best hole quality by using the adaptive layer height feature, printing the model at .16mm, and reducing the layer height of each hole down to .12mm.

**Recommended print settings (pictured print)**:
- Layer height: 0.16mm
- Wall infill order: outer/inner/infill
- Walls: 4
- Infill: Doesn't really matter
- Outer walls: 100mm/s
- Inner walls: 250mm/s
- Brim: optional
- Support: Tree Slim (changes the below settings)
- Top Z distance: 0
- Top interface layers: 0
- Tree walls: 2

**This toothbrush stand design comes in two sizes**:
- Fratelli - Four toothbrush stand (154mm wide)
- Duo - Two toothbrush stand (larger spacing between toothbrushes than Fratelli, and 107mm wide)


**Features**:
- Rounded bottom with guides on the inside of the stand to keep toothbrushes from falling over in the stand
- Doesn't touch the toothbrush head
- Two sizes available for different living arrangements
- Curves make the stand easy to clean


UPDATE (2023-12-23):
- The holes are bigger and sit higher to accommodate larger toothbrushes like Oral-B
- Removed hole chamfers for easier printing
- Where the bottom of the toothbrushes sit is now wider
- The footing isn't as long now, allowing for less material to be used

I wanted a way to have my razor and its disposable cartridges available for easy changing, rather than needing to reach for them in a drawer. At first, I just had the cartridges next to the razor on the counter, but I didn't like the clutter. That's when I decided a caddy was the tool for the job.


This caddy has many features including:
- Drainage holes at the razor head that lead to a channel on the underside
- Grates to hide the drainage and keep it from getting blocked
- An arm to hold the razor at an angle for drainage and safety (no exposed blades in the air)
- Space between the cartridge area and the handle for easy reach
- Filleted edges in the cartridge and head areas for easy cleaning


Fitment:
- Fits razors 135mm or longer, from top of blade head to tip of handle (tested with current gen and last gen Dollar Shave Club razors)
- Fits razor heads up to 16mmx45mm (up to 61mm wide if head is less than 16mm deep)

**Convert your Uplift Desk cubby into a more useful drawer**

I bought an Uplift Desk, but I found the cubby above my computer tower bracket to be pretty much useless. The opening wasn't tall enough to be able to reach anything that isn't right at the front. I wanted to make it more useful, so I figured a drawer was the right thing for the job.

**What you need:**
- Two M3x8 screws
- Glue (optional) 

**Printing:**
You'll want to print the handle and drawer face in higher quality, since they're most visible. Otherwise, feel free to print at whatever layer height you like.
- Supports: Only the handle. Everything else can be printed on its largest flat edge
- Walls: 3 is fine, but whatever floats your boat

**Assembly:**
- Print one of every model, except the standoffs
- Print four standoffs
- Glue the standoffs to the underside of the rails. Use the pegs for alignment. The long side of each standoff should be pointing outward to help support the drawer above
- Align the handle, the drawer face, and the drawer body. Secure with two M3x8 screws
- Align the rails and standoffs on your screws. The rails mark the front and rear, left and right in the center to help with orientation
- Slide the drawer in and enjoy
