Hextraction Possession Tile
Happy new year! Today I bring you a forbidden tile - Possession!
I've designed a series of tiles representing Vigors from BioShock Infinite - tonics the player consumes to gain a myriad of powers. Each tile is designed to look like the unique Vigor bottles, with their powers captured as game effects.
I printed this tile in a translucent green to try and mimic the glass bottle effect, though it didn't come out as translucent as I'd like - plus I'd prefer more contrast between the detail and the base (like in my 3mf). Note that the images show a slightly older version of the model. I removed the heart and increased the size of the star in the current model.
Rules Card Text (Forbidden) On Play: Discard your hand. Steal another player's hand. They draw at the end of your turn.
Printing & Assembly Instructions - Please Read Fully Before Printing I've provided various options to help those who don't have multi material systems, or to minimize filament waste if you do. I also included 3mf files.
Printing the Icon:
- Print the icon_container.
- If you have an MMS, drag icon_base, icon_detail_blade, icon_detail_heart, and icon_foreground into your slicer at the same time. Assign filament colors as you wish. If you do not have an MMS, I have provided icon_detail_single to make it easier. Pick and choose the level of detail using my provided files. Make 2 icons if printing the card.
Printing the Tile:
- Print tile_base, tile_detail.
Printing the Card:
- Drag card_base and card_details into your slicer at the same time. Assign filament colors as you wish.
- Print card_ring. I suggest printing it at the same time as icon_container.
Tile Assembly:
- Align and glue the icon into the icon_container.
- Align and glue the above onto the tile.
- Align and glue the tile_detail onto the tile.
Card Assembly:
- Align and glue the icon into the card.
- Align and glue the ring into the card.
