Hi!
I do have a technical question: Switching of "ensure vertical shell thickness" as noted in the PDF coming with this model leads to totally disconnected bottom solid infill in my case (Orca Slicer, latest version). Am I doing something the wrong way ? I set sparse infill to 0 as recommended.
Plus: How many top / bottom shell layers would you set on this one ?
(Printing Bambu A1, 0.8 nozzle, stock values 0.24mm layer hight (fine setting)).
Thanks & best wishes!
Hi, never used Orca Slicer, this setting was for PrusaSlicer, where the slicer adds random supporting material on the walls. With Bambu A1, you can print it with default settings without much problems, just use maybe a bit lower layer height to have cleaner result. For top bottom 4/5 is great, just check the bottom if there are no gaps. Can be printed without infill, but with infill it is going to be printed without any issues.
