Remix of Hextraction Secret Tiles by ZackFreedman. This remix was designed to use 6x2mm magnets to attach the body of the tile to the lid. I was able to friction fit the magnets but depending on your printer you might need some glue.
Also note I'm using a remixed version of the lid that's designed to be printed face down in one color.

I was having trouble with the pins on the official secret tiles breaking from being such a tight fit, so this seems like a great idea. I printed a full set of these, but I realized in play that using them with the secret flip/flop tiles is not so great. On the flip-flop tiles the balls pass too close to the magnets and end up sticking to them and never coming out. This was with very cheap magnets too. Either way, thanks for sharing!
It seems to work great with the DC tile as pictured.
Came here to say the same thing, I initially was playing with non magnetic balls, and when I "fixed" that, the flip flop started sticking 😅
Thanks for the feedback. I might try some play testing with smaller magnets and update the design.
