Philips Hue Smart Dimmer Switch Slim Footprint Wall Mount
byballentinedjangoCheck out this magnetic mount I made (magnets not included) for the Philips Hue Smart Dimmer Switch. The magnetically mounted switch/remote comes with a regular lightswitch-cover-sized plate, but I wanted to mount it on something more narrow.
You can attach it with a screw or two in any of the offered holes or just use double sided tape and both will work perfectly fine. Requires two (2) 2x6mm Magnets (the same as you use for Gridfinity and many other projects on Thangs.com) that should press fit in, but you can use a little CA glue if you need to.
IMPORTANT Before you place the magnets, make sure they are oriented correctly:
They will be opposite polarity to one another, and you figure out which pole by placing them on the back of your remote and extrapolating as such. You can figure it out. Make sure you orient the little ridge on the back of the remote with the gap in the mount.
No supports required.
