Tongs designed for effortlessly extracting seedlings from a starter tray. When your seedlings are outgrowing the starter tray cells and ready to graduate to your garden, slide these tongs along the walls of each cell, gently squeeze and pull out the entire content (soil & plant) and simply place it in a hole in the soil of the transplant site without damaging the delicate roots. The tongs measure about 153 mm long and designed to fit a 2x2-inch (≈ 50x50-mm) cell and reaches 2 inches (≈50 mm) in depth. The blades are tapered toward the bottom to 30 mm (≈ 1.2 in).
