Hextraction - Echo Tiles
Put your tiles on the same wavelength with the Echo Tile! Set up and execute clever two-for-one plays or crazy chain reactions! I designed this specifically for a custom gamemode I'm working on but it also works fine in the base game. And they look stylish as hell.
This tile was inspired by the Syncro Tile.
Rules: On overwrite, rotate, or move an adjacent tile: You may do the same to this tile.
Rules Clarifications:
- When the effect rotates this tile, you must rotate it the same amount and in the same direction you rotated the other tile.
- When the effect moves this tile, you must move it in the same amount and in the same direction you moved the other tile.
- You cannot move this tile if that slot is occupied.
- This triggers if an adjacent tile started adjacent to this tile and was moved away. It does not trigger if a tile was moved to an adjacent space from farther away.
- Do not rotate the tile when you move it.
- If the overwrite effect is triggered twice, you can still only overwrite it once. This is because after you overwrite it the first time, it's no longer on the board to be overwritten a second time.
- Yes, Echo tiles can chain-react with each other.
Required Materials:
- Glue
Printing: For each tile, print one base and one of each of the tunnels in the base's filename. So, for EchoBase_JC.stl, you'll print one J tunnel and one C tunnel.
I printed the bases using variable layer height. 0.2mm on the bottom, then 0.1mm on the top part for finer detail. No supports should be needed for any of the parts.
Which bases you print is up to you. In my personal pool I have two with 'JC' pathing and one with 'I' pathing.
Assembly: Glue one tunnel into each channel on the base. While the glue is drying, make sure the ends of the tunnels are flush with the sides of the tile.
If you like this tile, I have a bunch more on my profile!
