Warp through time and space with the fastest tile yet in Hextraction, the hackable, 3D printable board game. The fifth tile in Booster Pack 2: Time is of the Hexes features a turbo-speed effect, optional multi-filament details, and TWO brand-new keywords.

As soon as it hits the board, the Subspace Tile clones itself over and over into a hyperspace corridor, projecting your path further and faster than anything the game has seen before. Like Star Trek's iconic faster-than-light warp drives, this star-streaked secret weapon packs some new technology: the Virtual and Create keywords.

When a Virtual tile is destroyed or discarded, it doesn't leave the game - it enters a separate Virtual Pool so future Subspace Tiles can Create it again. Since Virtual Tiles can begin the game in the Virtual Pool instead of the main pool, you can provide enough copies to crisscross any board over and over, without overloading your draws with boring straight-line tiles. To keep things fair, the Subspace Tile must be installed at an angle - otherwise, you could get an easy straight shot from directly above the end zone.

Just remember, the effect isn't optional! Unless a tile blocks the path, the chained Creation effects will continue until the edge of the board. You may want to derail the train yourself by pre-emptively dropping a tile in the way. For a super-sneaky play, instead lay down a path between an end zone and ANOTHER edge slot! Then, roll for your turn, drop the Subspace Tile, and your opponent will have to waste their turn falling off the side. Unless they have a tile to block your path, your next play will take you to victory!

This tile can be printed in any rigid filament. To print the single-color version, just run off a few copies of Subspace Tile and Single-Color Card. For multi-material fun, drag Subspace Tile and 2-Color Details into your slicer simultaneously, and when prompted, select "Load these as a single object with multiple parts." Repeat with 2-Color Card and 2-Color Card Details, and assign filaments as desired. I've prepared a ready-to-print 3MF file with five Subspace Tiles that should work in PrusaSlicer, SuperSlicer, and Bambu Studio.

Remember, the more tiles you print, the more consistently the effect will work. Don't be stingy!

If you'd like to edit the tile, the source is here: https://a360.co/440cAnG While you're free to re-distribute the tile outside Thangs' paywall, I'd like to ask that you at least modify it a bit. The fewer people buy Booster Packs, the less time I can devote to making more.
