Shroud your strategy and keep foes guessing with this mind-game tile for Hextraction, the hackable 3D-printable board game. This is tile 3 of 5 in Hextraction Booster Pack 3: Practical F-Hex.
This tile might have the second-longest name in the game, but its superpower is simple. It's got two paths and one has a big fat magnet buried underneath. Guess right and mosey on through. Guess wrong and the magnet bear-hugs your ball forever. Since both paths look identical, you'll need deductive reasoning and/or wild guesswork.
And before you get cute and look for the telltale signs of a supported magnet slot, you should know that the non-magnet side has fake decoy supports invisibly integrated within, so both paths will look identical. Sneaky.
Print the 1-color version as-is, or drag the 2-Color Tile and Details into your slicer at the same time. Supports on the build plate are recommended, but a brim is not required. You can also open the included 3MF file to do it all for you. Any filament or filaments will work.
You'll also need 1-3 10x1mm neodymium disc magnets, depending on how powerful you want to feel the attraction. I got mine on Amazon, they're cheap.
If you'd like to edit the tile, the source is here: https://a360.co/44GDpO4 While you're free to re-distribute the tile outside Thangs' paywall, I'd like to ask that you at least modify it a bit. The more people buy Booster Packs, the more time I can devote to making more.
