Hextraction Tile/Ball Holder (Modular / tiny printer version)
byWinnerBitI have a 100x120x100mm print bed, and therefore was unable to print LTWoodcraft's excellent tile and ball holder for Hextraction. So I took it upon myself to make a split version that will fit on my pint-sized bed.
The best part of this remix is that it's not just for tiny printers – it also allows you to orient the two halves in any way you'd like. Want to mirror the original design? Spread out the three tiles around the ball holder? Make a 1x4 grid out of it? The world is your oyster (assuming that that world is also this tile holder). Just pay attention to the notch orientation!
Since this is my first time editing ANY 3D models, it's not perfect. The pieces will require sanding and gluing (cyanoacrylate or epoxy recommended), but it should come together well enough!
For novices: open this model in Cura, make sure you have Mesh Tools installed, right-click the model, and select "Split models into parts." Then print each half separately. (This may become irrelevant later, if I can be bothered to split the model itself into multiple files.)
If you have / notice any other issues, reach out to me and I'll update the file if I can. Cheers!
