I am building a hydroponic tower and was looking for a hydrometer that's compatible with my 50mm water hole. I couldn't find any that's slim & subtle enough so I decided to create one from scratch.

I used the hydrometer base & the 2 notched variants so it perfectly indicates the halfway & quarter way water depletion for my IKEA NYPON 32cm pot. If your tank is deeper or more shallow you can print more or less components so it fits perfectly for you.

Model is also quite lightweight, ~30g of filament for all base components. I personally printed it out of PETG since it's going to make contact with the water non-stop but I suppose you could print it out of anything.

I created this model after my girlfriend showed me a similar one online. She really liked this stand so I tried to adjust it to our headphones and 3D print a pair of them.

Please try to print the stand upright with organic tree supports. If printed on the side it will likely ruin one side of the stand. I tried several tests to print it on the side and the rounded edges would always look very bad.

I also suggest increasing the stand's plate bottom layers to add a bit of weight & stability as well as ensure the bottom layer doesn't separate from the plate (especially if you plan on printing everything on one plate).

The vase itself is about 22cm tall and the stand adds another 4cm. I tried to keep all the proportions as close to the original as possible. Although, some of them were a guessing game.

This model took about 13h to print on my Bambu Lab P1S. It's quite massive.

Please make sure to print with at least 4 wall loops & at least 5 bottom layers to minimize water absorption. Be careful printing this with random seams. I thought it was going to smooth them out but it made them pop up even worse (see last image). Due to the nature of the shape some sanding & treatment would also help improve the overall smoothness of the shapes.
