I designed this to hold a Tuya (insert model here) humidity and temperature sensor for my filament dry box. The mount is designed to attach the sensor to a dry box lid or wall, allowing easy readings from outside the box.

A gap was incorporated into the design to enable the battery door of the sensor to be removed for battery replacement without detaching the sensor or mount from the dry box. However, due to loose tolerances in this version, this gap causes the sensor to tilt slightly and not sit flush against the dry box lid. It won’t fall out of the mount, but if this tilt bothers you then inserting a small piece of rolled-up paper as a shim in one corner between the sensor and mount can help reduce tilting. I may post a 2nd version later without this gap to prevent the tilt, but the mount would have to be removed every time you swap batteries.

The model includes a 0.2mm sacrificial layer for two of the vent holes. This allows the model to be printed without supports, provided your printer, filament, and slicer can perform adequate bridging. If bridging is problematic, supports may still be necessary. With my version of Orca, the sacrificial layer prints as a single layer when the layer height is set between 0.13 and 0.31mm. Printing within this range ensures the layer can easily be punched through if desired. You can then carefully clean it up with a blade and lighter/heat gun for a polished appearance, or leave it in place if enough airflow is maintained through the space left between the bridging lines.
