Introducing PETwelder & Mr.Winder! Smart device that can weld and automatically wind two filaments for you! Easy to assembly! Most of the parts are 3D printed!
Supported filaments: PET, PETG, PLA. More coming soon...
This duo will help you to create an entire spool of PET filament (DIY bottle filament) in a totally automatic way!
What’s more, you can turn your PLA leftovers (let’s be honest - that will never be used again waiting in a dusty corner…) into one big spool of material!
It's a great REWINDER as well, you can rewind your incompatible spools of filament (for example for AMS) to be usable!
The machine includes some parts created on demand (custom PCB, tension spring or turned metal/teflon parts) that are impossible to get or really expensive when ordering just single quantities.
Because of this there is just ONE WAY to purchase all the components needed to build the machine, my Etsy store (link in the text document. You can find 10% OFF coupon there as well).
That’s why this project is for FREE. Later, every position on the list of materials will have a link to aliexpress/amazon and just two of them will be available in my store, then this project won’t be FREE anymore. So downloading it now will give you an access to everything later!
When buying the kit: NO soldering needed. NO crimping wires needed. NO programming needed. Just you and nothing disturbed assembling process…
Well designed 3D models and very detailed assembly manual with HQ pictures - 120 pages -step by step showing how to assemble the PETwelder.
Minimum bed size to print every particular part is 18cmx18cm.
