Kick Drum SD/Micro SD Cardholder v1

This SD cardholder was inspired by the drummer of my band who recently began pursuing professional photography. Features include:

Threaded top and bottom lids 6 SD Card Slots 12 Micro SD Card Slots "Secret" compartment for storage (approx 3 cubic inches of storage)

3D Printer Setting Used: Printing Orientation:

The two lids were designed to have the open side facing the build plate (the only way to get the details on the top :/ ), so you will need supports on both sides. I would highly suggest tree supports, I haven’t had any issues removing mine.

For the main body, print with the sd card sides facing up. You shouldn’t need any supports for the secret storage area, although they may be helpful if your bridging isn’t great.

Infill You should be fine with standard 10-15% infill max and it will be plenty strong.

Layer Height: I have only tested this model with a 0.2 layer height and am unsure of how the threads would print with a higher layer height, so attempt at your own risk!
