A sturdy drink coaster with a traditional Japanese Pattern. Large enough to accommodate all common drink ware. Patterns are cut 3mm deep to accommodate condensation from drink glasses quite well.

Dimensions: ∅92mm x 5 mm thick (~3.6 x .2 in)

Asanoha - Hemp Leaf The Asanoha pattern is a traditional Japanese design that geometrically abstracts a hemp leaf. It is based on regular hexagons and is often referred to as “麻の葉” (asa no ha), meaning “hemp leaf” in Japanese. Hemp is known for vitality and vigorous growth without the need for a lot of care. The pattern is believed to have protective qualities, warding off harm or evil spirits. For these reasons, it's often used on clothing - particularly for babies and children - to wish them a strong and healthy growth.

PRINTING:

  • Print from either side, I prefer design face down on a nice textured plate
  • Print with at least 5 bottom & top shell layers, 2-3 walls, 0-20% infill
  • For fuzzy outer rim:
    • use 3mf file with fuzzy > countour/outside walls @ 0.1mm point distance & thickness
    • set modifier > fuzzy > none (necessary to avoid entire pattern printed with fuzzy skin)
