Passthrough Fidget Triangle + Squiggle Star

Henlo beans!!

I have another little fidget for you today!! This is a bonus model that is an extra in addition to everything else I have planned for the month.

I am working on testing a few last things so I can release my Gacha Machine today too!!

These are Pass-Through Flushies. They work great for getting rid of some of the extra filament waste, and they are surprisingly fun to play with!! I felt like I did not have many models that could be used as flush objects while still being something useful afterward, so I made these little guys.

I made two versions: a simple spiral and a wiggly star-topped spiral.

They print super quickly, use very little filament, and make great scrap-filament projects when you do not feel like starting a huge print.

I have already made a small pile of them from using them as flushies over the past few weeks, and they have been insanely popular with kids!

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Spiral Pass-Through Flushie STL & 3MF
  • Star Pass-Through Flushie STL & 3MF

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

  • Layer Height: 0.16
  • Infill: 15 percent
  • Supports: Not needed
  • Filament: Matte or regular PLA
  • Adaptive Layers recommended for smoother effect

PRINTING NOTES

  • These are print-in-place models and require reasonably good printer tolerances. If your tolerances are not dialed in, the moving pieces may fuse together during printing.

  • If you experience fusing, you can also move the pieces apart in your slicer and print them separately.

  • I intentionally designed these with a slightly tighter fit because I found the extra friction more satisfying to play with. Because of this, they may feel a little snug at first compared to similar fidgets.

  • The smaller you scale these models, the tighter the fit will become and the harder they may be to slide through one another.

  • The larger you scale these models, the looser the fit will become and the easier they will slide.

  • For best results, print at the original scale before experimenting with resizing.
