Print on a smooth build plate. Bed adhesion and tuned flow rate are super important for this one. If you find the beads are coming off the build plate try using hairspray like AquaNet before printing.

Print base coaster in base color with a change to contrast 1 at layer 10. Print frame in contrast 2. Snap in place, optionally glue in.

Ice cream bar magnets with multiple options for printing:
- All in one (for multicolor printers)

The well for the magnet is a "negative part" in the model, and can be easily scaled in the slicer for whatever sized magnet you have. By default they are 1/2" round magnets.

Model
Proudly display your favorite Lego or Lego Compatible minifigs with this ornament. It's printed in multiple parts to minimize the supports needed. It can be set up to either hang from a string like a traditional ornament, or with a sleeve that slips over a standard mini bulb for a lighted ornament.

 

To assemble:

Print the ornament front, back, stud connector, and plate holder. You will likely need to use supports on the ornament front. I've found success printing the back “face up” so the smooth back is on the bed, and the front “face up” as well with supports on the interior. If you're using a coextruded multicolor filament be sure to orient the front and back in the same direction so the colors line up.

Print either the two-hole ornament hanger for use with string, or the single hole for use with a mini bulb.

Use your favorite glue to connect the stud connector and plate holder, then glue the assembly into the back of the ornament (just under the bump on the back). Glue the front in place. The ornament hanger screws in so you can change it out as needed.

The .3mf file labeled "Mouse Waffles - 3 Sizes" includes holes for 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch magnets. The file labeled "Waffle - Flatface" contains the original mesh without the magnet hole so you can add a hole in any size you need.

There are 4 basic designs in this set:
- Hollow single piece egg
- Solid single peice egg (for scaling down)
- Thin wall two part threaded egg (for printing as-is or scaling up)
- Thick wall two part threaded egg (for scaling down)

If you are printing these to fit flexi-dragons you may wish to scale up the threaded egg to 100mm in diameter. The dragons will fit as-is, but it's a tight fit and may be frustrating to small children.
