This is an improved version of my original Multibin 1x1 - Drop-In File Needle File Lid.

The design is a parametric 1X1 Multibin lid to hold needle files. I've added holes and bosses to hold needle files.

The parametric values are:

• Number of files
• Handle diameter
• Multibin height (0.5 or 1 recommended)

Based on feedback from @TimCummings, I added a ring to support the bosses at the ends for improved strength. My highly un-scientific drop tests showed no failures when dropped from table height.

Recommend choosing your bin height based on the length of the file handles. The bosses adjust to the bin height to prevent the files from toppling over. My assumption is that most needle files will not require a bin height over “1H” (in Multibin speak). The needle files in the pictures is this kit.

Recommended printer settings:

• 0.2 mm layer height
• 3 walls
• 15% Gyroid infill
• No supports
