I have created a 2D eye blank for this fursuit head, I am new to this so I recommend turning on supports just in case, if you choose to scale the head be sure to scale the eyes with the same percentage.

Hello, I am on a journey to make as many free fursuit bases as I can! I am relatively new to blender so these first few may be a little janky wile I work out the kinks, If you have any issues with this file please let me know so I will be able to avoid those mistakes in the future.

This mask will need to be sanded on the nose and teeth ( though if you put fabric on the nose you won't have to)





You are not allowed to sell this head base as is. If you wish to sell this as a commission you must first
1. Contact me via one of my linked social media sites
2. Wait for me to give you my blessing to use the head base for commission
3. Make sure the buyer is fully aware that I was the one who made the head base

This mask depending on the scaling is a great gift for kids, dinosaur lovers, furries looking to create a new character, or maybe even an art doll.

Teeth can be sharp, sand down before giving to children.

Materials needed to complete (wearable)

Print (scaled to your liking)
thin elastic or rubber bands (for hooks on jaw)
thicker elastic (for head strap)
glue (I personally use hot glue)
knife (to score plastic so elastic holds on)
scissors
foamies (Foam sheets) (for chin and padding)

Optional personalization

buckram mesh (for eyes)
fabric of your choosing (for hood)
primer
paint (acrylic)
clay (for custom details; I personally recommend foam clay) (or sculpt in in sculpting software of your choosing)
sandpaper
upholstery foam
duct tape and markers (for patterning)
to scale bust (to make pattern on)
sealant

Does not fit
If too large or slides down the face, apply upholstery foam to the forehead (inside) add and subtract till fits properly.

Scaling
I personally scaled to 90%, if you have a scan of your head scale to that instead.

Q&A
Q: how do I remove teeth
A: If your slicer allows you to "split model into parts", you should be able to delete them

Q: Can I sell this mask as is?
A: no (note: if you see someone selling this mask as is that isn't going by the name "SleepySkeletonStudio" please let me know.)

Q: Can I use this mask to make a commission for customer?
A: Yes, but you must credit me, and the mask will be sold as a collaboration

Q: what other requirements are there to sell this mask?
A: you must make it distinguishable from my design, this can be through painting, furring, adding horns, changing the face shape, ext. 

Q: can I sell masks that all I did was follow your tutorial?

Print the base,eyelids, and mesh in flexible. Everything else in PLA

Jaw too floppy

If printed in flexible material the jaw may be floppy,  sew in some armature wire (make sure it's an anti rust material, and stiff enough) to the base itself (inside). Repeat until desired firmness 

How do I attach eyelids And mesh

A.  Cover in anti pill fleece, sew on (after base has been furred) 

B. Glue on magnets to piece and base, fur/fleece and usual



How do I attach jawset

Glue (after lining) 

Optional: attach a strip of fleece the color of your lining to the "seam"
