1:144 Pfalz A.I
This is a paintable 1:144 scale model of a Pfalz A.I. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
The Pfalz A.I was a licensed copy of the Morane-Saulnier Type L with an 80hp Oberursel rotary engine. A group of Pfalz A.I's in Austrian markings attempted to bomb Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy on 31 July 1915 before war had been declared between Italy and Germany, but they were unsuccessful. Pfalz A.I's and A.IIs also served on the Eastern Front and perhaps in Mesopotamia around Kut. However, the majority of them were probably assigned to the Bavarian flying schools.
