The Ansaldo S.V.A. 5 was the single-seat reconnaissance version of the Ansaldo S.V.A. family, armed with twin Vickers machine guns, racks for three 162mm bombs, two cameras, and provision for radio. It was one of the more common SVA variants, with hundreds built, though getting an exact count has proven difficult, but a good guess might be 200 to 600 planes during the war.
