June's Endless PLA subscription is out now! Since 4 of the 6 filaments are transparent we have decided to make some light inspired designs!

This "Stained" PLA lamp is a 3D printed take on a Stained Glass lamp!

Print Settings -0.2mm layer height -15-20% infill -Supports needed for arches -Print the base

Assembly -I used this lamp cord: Lamp Cord -Print 32x “glass” pieces -To print with optimal clarity: -.1mm layer height -2 perimeters -avoid crossing perimeters -100% infill -Aligned Rectilinear fill pattern -0 top and 0 bottom layers -Slow all speed to 20mm/s -Print at a higher temp for PLA, I used 220 for mine -Print on a smooth sheet or glass bed for best clarity -I used the “print by object” setting and filled the bed with copies for the transparent rainbow filament -Bend the "glass" and pop into the oval holes on the lamp base
