40 links with clips, and one of everything else.
I also recommend picking up a 90-degree power cord — it keeps the cable out of the way and makes for a cleaner setup.

Which camera mount do you use? I can't use the stock mount.
Kobra 3 Max-Chain End-Camera.STEP is made specifically for the K3 Max, thats the chain end that gets mounted to the z/x-axis. Kobra 3 Max-Chain-Camera Mount.stl will accept the standard camera kit housing and links up to the chain end mount.
Can you add a photo of what the base clicks into or how it mounts?
there is a plastic cover that is snaped in to the extruded rail where the wires are, pull it off and replace with the long l-shaped one in the models. no screws, just tabs...
can you mod the ends for the 3 v2? XD printed the chain for the wrong printer
sorry i don't have the V2 so i wouldn't even know what's different.
Would you recommend PETG for this, or would PLA work?
I don't have a lot of experience with PLA, back in the day I printed exclusively with ABS and for last few years now I've come to really love PETG. PLA will most likely work just fine, the prints should never see much stress.
