Worked nicely for my hobby knife/xacto but apparently I'm the only person who uses actual scalpels as well (MUCH cheaper).
While there's a lot of overlap/similarity in blade profiles, scalpel handles are flat and blades attaches through a locking keyhole rather than collet like an Xacto/hobby knife.
