It's undeniable - baby sea turtles are #cute . This was a bit of an unexpected release for me, it was just one of those things where I got going in a direction and had to finish it through to the end. And the end is...stuck halfway in the middle of realistic and cartoonlike with this lil' guy - and honestly, I'm really happy with the way he turned out! For real though - he is actually VERY detailed with lots of textures on his flippers and neck rolls.
The little guys are scaled to require only 13g of filament, and printed on my a1 mini in about 1 hour. I printed a lot of these guys in different colors so I can give them away...because I'm just so proud of this model, haha.
Included in the .3mf is a fully painted, a1 mini scaled and painted articulated model. I provide an a1 mini fully colored .3mf and a LARGE a1 fully colored .3mf. The .STL files are single object files, used for printing in single colors.
This little sea turtle is divided into several parts, that can all be colored separately in the .3mf.Eyes, front flippers, rear flippers, shell, and each individual shell section can be color changed.
I recommend .16mm layer height, 3 walls and at least 10% infill, if not more to stiffen up those tiny little joints.
