Skull Lamp – Antique Bone & Bronze Hand-Painted Light Shade

Add a touch of gothic elegance to your space with this Skull Lamp, featuring a sculpted skull base and a softly glowing shade. Designed for easy 3D printing, the base captures intricate anatomical details from the jawline to the brow ridges making it perfect for resin or FDM printing.

This version is hand-painted in antique bone white, finished with dark raw-umber shading and subtle gold highlights to create an aged bronze patina. When lit, the warm glow from the shade casts dramatic light over the skull’s contours for a hauntingly beautiful effect.

Screw-fit for assembly**, and the socket opening is designed for a standard E27 bulb holder (socket not included).

Recommended settings:

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 5–10 %
• 3 Parts - Skull Base, Fitting and Shade. Only the skull base needs supports under the chin and I've included my print settings as a reference.
• Optional clear coat or satin varnish for extra depth

Tip: Undercoat the skull in black or raw umber before dry-brushing with bone white and gold to achieve the perfect aged finish.

🛠️ DIY Note: You will need to supply your own LED light source. I used an E27 screw-type Edison bulb socket (not included). The socket hole is 41.5 mm in diameter, sized to fit most standard E27 lamp fittings.

I've only tested with this socket, see image. I purchased from Ebay.

The fitting features a screw-top design for quick and easy assembly.

Please Note: This model has only been tested on a Bambu Lab P1S. If you're experiencing any issues using a different printer, feel free to reach out. Large print time 9 hours.
