Undercoat: Carbon Black Highlights: Toning Grey Yellowish + Titanium White Metallics: Rich Gold (Micaceous)

Painting Tip Start with a solid Carbon Black undercoat. Mix Toning Grey Yellowish with Titanium White until you achieve the desired stone-like tone, then lightly dry brush the face, arms, hair, wings, and raised details. The black remains visible in the recesses, creating strong contrast and depth. Add a little more Titanium White to the mix for the final dry-brushed highlights on the highest points.

Use Rich Gold (Micaceous) on the crown, jewelry, architectural details, and other decorative elements. Apply lightly to keep an aged antique appearance rather than a bright metallic finish.

The key is multiple light dry-brush passes, allowing the black undercoat to show through and create natural shadows and definition.
