Gargoyle Jewelry Box
The Gargoyle_Lid.stl file is also compatible with CNC carving, offering flexibility depending on your preferred method. This box is perfect for storing jewelry or other small treasures.
The dimensions are 75mm x 75mm, with a height of approximately 43mm. For the best finish, I recommend printing in resin, though the model can be easily scaled to suit your needs.
The lid doubles as a standalone display piece (see image).
For painting, I used Raw Umber and Pale Gold, carefully dabbing gloss varnish with a cotton bud on the raised gold areas of the gargoyle’s body and wings for added detail.
I usually print the base in PLA and the lid in resin to achieve a smoother, more refined finish. Don't forget to add supports under the lid for optimal printing results.
