Dragon Notebook
Dragon Notebook with Pencil Slot – Rubber Band Closure
This unique notebook combines fantasy design with everyday functionality. The intricately hand-painted cover features a dragon motif, giving it the look of an ancient spellbook. Inside, blank pages are securely held by rubber bands, including the latch system—making it easy to refill or replace the paper. A hidden compartment also holds a standard pencil, perfect for on-the-go sketches or notes.
Ideal for fantasy lovers, writers, artists, or as a magical gift. New original design. No supports needed.
Use good-quality, seamless rubber bands for best results. This is a detailed print that takes around 9 hours to complete. I think the end result is worth it—but you can decide for yourself.
I’m working on more cover designs—if you have a theme in mind, feel free to drop a comment!
Use A4 or Letter size paper and fold in half.
For the latch, fold the rubber band into a figure-eight, then loop it back over itself to secure.
I started with a black undercoat, then dry brushed Pale Gold and Copper for a layered metallic effect. Here's an improved version:
UPDATE – 16th May: Now includes Mini_Dragon_Notebook.stl — a compact version at half the size and print time, designed without the pencil holder.
Please Note: This model has only been tested on a Bambu Lab P1S. If you're experiencing any issues using a different printer, feel free to reach out.
Available exclusively to members.

Thanks! I'm really glad you love the design! I’m working on bringing more motifs across different formats boxes, book boxes, and notebooks are all in the pipeline. Please do share your make once it's done!
Love this, very original. Your themes are always on point and makes me think you would have an awesome series of covers for a coptic style notebook. Would require some stitching on the printer's part but could be amazing.
Thank you! I’m really glad you like the theme I’ve actually been exploring some ideas for a full series of Coptic-style covers, so your comment is perfect timing. I agree, adding stitching would really elevate the look. Definitely something I’d love to develop further!
I love the notebook design! I would like to see all the different motifs available in all the different formats. Boxes, book boxes, notebooks...I'll post a make once it's done.
