Included in this download are

  • 1600+ STLs of all possible thread sizes for the HEX HEAD v1 fastener between ranges 5mm to 45mm and a length of 6mm to 45mm.
  • 45 Tap tool STLS that create a hole with the right offset tolerance for most 3D printers
  • A inventory catalog .txt file with a list of all .STLs in the catalog

To use this catalog just unzip all the files somewhere in your file directory and search for the part you need by desired length and diameter.

To "tap" the hole for the fastner use the tap tool of the equal diameter as an object to boolean subtract a hole in the desired spot in your 3D model.

PRINT RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • PETG is a bit better than PLA especially for smaller sized parts.
  • 0.16mm layer height is optimal
  • recommend 3+ wall loops for strenght
  • recommend gyroid infill
