Nintendo Switch Vertical Layout Bracket
A bracket that goes over the JoyCon comfort grip and holds the Switch above for a vertical layout. This provides better comfort than bare JoyCon's by utilizing the comfort grip, and makes the console narrower for better comfort if you play while laying down.
Both sides of the model simply clip on to the Comfort Grip/Switch Console, and are held together with an M4 bolt. The holes for the bolt are slightly undersized, the intention being for it to be threaded in. I've also added vents to the top so the consoles exhaust isn't restricted.
I printed both parts on their backs with 5 top/bottom layers and 50 percent infill, because the unit is top heavy I wanted extra strength. I also used tree supports for the longer overhang on the controller side of the model.

Is there a version of this for the pro controller?
Could the handle extend up a little bit that way the charger could fit comfortably underneath for the original Nintendo switch.
Just printed, and i think product fit dims are awesome, the switch clips right in and feels solid. Im having trouble with the hinge fitting together they just seem like way too big. Even after trying some filing they just dont seem like they will fit. Anyone else have these issues?
I just forced it into place, i think the tight fit i necessary since it gives more roughness to movement, Making it more sturdy and not flimsy
Is it compatible with the oled version?
Hey mate, sorry for the late reply, I've not been on the platform much lately as I've been traveling
But yes, the OLED and the Original Switch models are both compatible
Yes, the picture he used shows an OLED. It is compatible.,
What kind of filiment did you use? I am super new to 3d printing!
Hey there,
I printed this in PLA and it's working fine. I'd expect that ASB or ASA would be even better. But the switch isn't heavy enough to approach the limits of PLA 😊
Happy printing!
